Renewing America

A friend wrote, “Trump’s vulgar language, lack of morals, tweets, and his disregard of the laws of the land make him unfit to hold the office of President. He’s an embarrassment, and should be removed by whatever means available.”
Trump is an uncouth narcissist, yes, but he has complied with the nation’s laws.
His obsession with the nation’s trade imbalance is foolish and unnecessary. For large parts of its history, America has run trade deficits without inhibiting development.
Other Trump policies, however, have brought us a roaring economy with black and Hispanic employment at all-time highs. Lower corporate tax rates, fewer antibusiness regulations, and the appointment of numerous relatively young constitutionalists to federal courts has been especially beneficial.
If the Senate tries President Trump, he will be exonerated. In November 2020, he will enjoy a landslide victory, and Republicans will probably control both houses of Congress. They can then begin draining the swamp.
Only two Republicans, Donald Trump and Rush Limbaugh, create joyful excitement when speaking to large audiences and are unafraid of the press. They can galvanize the nation into cutting back government.
Transcripts of Limbaugh’s radio shows (at rushlimbaugh.com) reveal that, once you’re past the braggadocio, Rush is knowledgeable and has excellent judgment. He would win the 2024 presidential election handily. Taking office at the age of 74, Rush would make the U.S. government smaller and less intrusive. Trump and Limbaugh together would generate an American renewal, including higher morale, more peacefulness, and greater equality of wealth.
