It certainly has, Sarah. In fact, the liberal media is purposefully not revealing the full extent of current destruction.
Here’s the basic reason for the public violence: For over a century, since the Theodore Roosevelt Administration, the government sector of the United States has grown from 10 percent of the GDP to at least 37 percent now. Ever more laws and regulations have been applied.
Laws and regulations apply force, which is a form of violence. Government violence begets the public violence we’re now seeing in American cities, especially in Washington and Oregon, whose state governments have been unusually large and intrusive for decades.
As described in my book, government’s use of force usually makes things worse, especially for the poor.
Joe Biden intends to apply force all the more, making government even bigger and more intrusive. This would be disastrous.
Donald Trump is an ill-informed blowhard and an uncouth, oversensitive narcissist. Nevertheless, he will win reelection in November.
But unlike most presidents, Trump is unafraid of the overwhelmingly liberal press. One hopes he’ll begin the long process of cutting back government.
